Request for Bids for the Operation and Maintenance of Three Campgrounds in Algonquin Provincial Park issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, through its Ontario Parks Branch in the Provincial Services Division, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated proponent to operate and maintain three campgrounds on Highway 60 in Algonquin Provincial Park including the Pog Lake Campground, the Kearney Lake Campground, and the Whitefish Lake Group Campground. The selected proponent will deliver outstanding customer service and maintain an efficient business approach while providing camper registration and sales of Ontario Parks Permits and merchandise; financial reporting and records of campground use; camper information and education services; sanitation and janitorial services; facility maintenance; grounds maintenance; campground security and resource protection services; and emergency management services. The term of the Agreement will be for a Term of five (5) years with an option to extend the Agreement for an additional period of up to five (5) years. It is anticipated that the Agreement will be executed around April 1, 2018.
