We are looking to find volunteers to assist in the
Winter Angler Activity Flights, Algonquin Provincial Park
A series of flights will be conducted over a set of lakes in Algonquin Provincial Park for the purpose of collecting data on the number of anglers utilizing lakes. These will occur during the months of January to April 2018. There will be roughly 14 flights, the majority of the flights will be leaving from the Muskoka airport, Gravenhurst. The remainder of the flights will be departing from the North Bay and Pembroke airports. An MNRF Turbo Beaver will be used to conduct the surveys.
Each flight is roughly 2 hours of flight time. Be prepared to be at the airport by 09:30hr and away till 14:30hr.
Please be aware that flight could be canceled for reasons such as weather conditions and rescheduled to the next day.
A schedule will be available in December depending on ice conditions; note some flights are on weekends.
